Pilates StickPilates is a unique form of exercise developed by Joseph Pilates in England in 1912. Pilates exercises focus on form, breathing, and controlled movement to strengthen and lengthen muscles with minimal resistance. The practice emphasizes a connection between the mind and body, encouraging practitioners to learn to differentiate muscle groups and to use focus and visualization to master even the most advanced exercises. The result is that the body is trained to work as a unit with the mind to achieve a healthy presence, the body is toned, strengthened, and lengthened and weight is lost.

At The Pilates Connection, Pilates exercise and its benefits are at the "core" of what we do but we're so much more. We are the fitness studio where you can make real, long-lasting life changes. With private training and small, personalized group classes, we offer functional assessment and help our clients set and reach goals for their health and wellness. We provide ongoing education in a variety of health topics including nutrition and treatment of localized pain. Our staff is highly qualified in fitness and movement, certified by the PMA (Pilates Method Alliance), and several of them are medically trained to assist clients with rehabilitation and treatment of special conditions.

Our Pilates studio in east Tucson is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art Pilates equipment. We are located on the Northeast Corner of Broadway and Camino Seco in Tucson.
